Dessert Island

Don't anyone get bent out of shape .... I know I wrote dessert and not desert. One of my kids did that at school one day and we all got a big laugh out of it. He's a good natured kid and thought it was funny, too. And I don't know about you, but a dessert island sounds more inviting than a desert island. Banana pudding, here I come! Hee, hee.

So because I have been off work for 5 days and am going stir crazy from being home so much, here's a question for everyone:

If you were stranded on a deserted island, name 3 people you'd like to be stranded there with you. (others may join you later through the underground hatches ... oh wait, different island)

Oh btw, you'll only be stranded for a little while, so don't struggle with the choices too much.

My three: my friends Terry and Carmen and my brother (he can hunt and provide comic relief and help us make weapons ...lol)

Yeah, I really have nothing to do.

If I was assured of a rescue, I would probably take Andrea, my sisters, and/or my Mom. I know that's four, but it's hard to narrow down.
If this was going to be a long protracted stay (like on "Lost"), I'd be taking my brother (for brains, brawn and comic relief), my brother-in-law David (for even more brains and identifying potential food sources), and my brother-in-law Rodney (more brawn-builds houses for a living, could probably build a boat too).

Short term I'd take Elizabeth, Kelli/Mike (they only count as one), and Alex - just to watch his head explode from being stuck on a deserted island.

Elizabeth's long-term picks seem spot-on.

Though there's always an arguement for eye-candy ...

Well, if it really was dessert island, you'd have to take some eye-candy. -elizabeth

I don't think my brother would count as eye candy, but that's from a sister perspective. Maybe, if it was dessert island, the eye candy would already be there waiting for us .....

Well, I currently can't be apart from Isaac, and Jay really loves being outdoors, and I've got to have somebody to keep J-bear out of harm's way... hmmm... any volunteers?

I love to babysit! As long as at some point the mommy comes back.
